It’s the end of another year, and it’s been a bit more difficult to decide which was the best release, at least more difficult than last year. So I’ve basically chosen the ten albums and singles that I liked the best, but the order might be a bit random. But just a bit though.
I’m a big fan of The Band. No, I’m a huge fan of The Band. In my opinion it’s the best band ever! Their first two records are nothing short of amazing, and no one has ever written songs better than those. Intricate, yet accessible. The songs have substance, heart, and they are catchy as hell.
The least progressive artist of the year is back with his third album in the span of one year. He is nothing if not productive though, but when they all sound the same; is it really worth it?
